Here's a fun piece I did for OUT Magazine recently.

Union Square

Imagine sitting in Union Square with your friend and being thoroughly entertained by the eclectic people around you.
One saturday, that's what me and my friend did. We sat at the steps and watched and listened to these random "performers". There was a guy preaching what he thought what the bible was about, which was not popular with the crowd. People were blatantly telling him to get off. some were swearing at him, some just laughed, and this woman walked right in front him and yelled at him how his "preaching" is driving her art sales away. Then, this shaman, who looks like Jesus, stood behind him and posed like the holy one (they were not affiliated), and people were cheering, saying Jesus has returned!
What a day, and only in New York!

I had another great opportunity to do likenesses and narrative pieces for New York Magazine.
Good thing Katy Perry's tattoo is temporary.

Gossip News!

I got to do a gossip section of the Intelligencer column for the New York Magazine last week.
It was a fun assignment: You get to draw and catch up on celebrity gossip. :)
I think the Jay-Z one is great! He was seen crossing the Brooklyn bridge, where he pulls over to lecture a fan about smoking. Can you image your favorite celebrity coming up to you and talking to you? thats crazy.

An Unlost Civilization

These illustrations were for WunderKammer.
It talks about the idea of what is "authentic" of the Mayan tourist places and what isn't, and if "Mayans" still really exist.
